Season’s Greetings from Aluwave
The year 2014 has nearly passed and a lot has happened during the year. The roll-out of LED lighting in the market has now really taken off and it has been an exciting year for many suppliers including Aluwave.
Once again, Aluwave has increased its sales as many of our customers’ products now have increased in volume. We have also had the pleasure to welcome new customers to Aluwave, customers that will launch their new products in 2015. A brand measurement in the Swedish trade magazine, “Ljuskultur”, also showed a clearly increased awareness of the Aluwave brand this year. In short, we continue to grow!
Strengthened by the success, we have continued to invest in order to secure the expansion of our operation; we have recruited seven people this year, we have increased our capacity in both the surface mounting and the manual assembly lines and we have expanded our facility here in Mölndal to accommodate a warehouse. This autumn, we have also established a new Aluwave company in China in order to provide LED solutions locally to our customers’ assembly plants.
Looking into the future, we see a continuous demand for our expertise and resources in terms of our design services and in-house production. The opportunity to get a unique design and functionality combined with a high quality LED light is still highly requested by the companies we meet.
Dear Aluwave Customer and Partner – we would like to thank you for our cooperation during 2014. It has been an extra-ordinary year. Now we look forward to see you soon again in 2015!
From all of us, at Aluwave;
We wish you a Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year!
Our CEO, Jonas Stålhandske, talks about Aluwave’s LED business in Swedish media.
We welcome Joakim Axelsson to Aluwave. He is already at his post, as our new head of the Design team.
Joakim’s contacts are available at our Contact page.
Once again, Aluwave starts up an LED module production site of its own. This time in Qingdao to enable local deliveries to its customers’ assembly sites in China.
During April, we are once again expanding our facilities. This time, we add 400m2 in order to increase our warehouse area and the number of entrances for goods. Thanks to this, we are now able to expand our ESD protected zone and establish additional permanent stations for manual assembly.
Aluwave has hired Peter Larsson as a production engineer. Peter is responsible for the flow of production and related processes. His contacts are available at our Contact page.
In December 2013, Aluwave conducted a brand measurement in the Swedish magazine, Ljuskultur. The result showed a substantial increase in brand recognition of the Aluwave brand compared to the last measurement in 2012. The top-three associations from the respondents when recognizing the Aluwave brand was: 1: Environmental responsibility 2: Quality 3: Delivery precision. For more information, please contact Anna Jutendahl.
Since the start of 2014, Aluwave has recruited four new colleagues:
Jesper Ekström as sales manager, Lars Thörnqvist as designer, Jeanette Bertilsson as assembler and Andreas Thulin as machine operator.
Aluwave has implemented yet another assembly line (SMT line) in the production to meet the increased demand for customized LED solutions on the market. Thanks to this, Aluwave will now quadruple its production capacity and increase flexibility and quality for the company’s customers.
