With the entrance of LED into the lighting industry a whole set of new functions and features can be implemented as the LEDs are parts in an electonic solution in a different way than for instance the light bulb. Integration with sensors and control systems becomes more natural to implement and the skills required by suppliers in the light generation business moves more and more towards system integration and electronic/thermal/optical design.
Aluwave provides solutions to the lighting industry and delivers customized lamp modules and systems to suppliers of complete luminaries. These companies have the knowlegde of customer requirements in their particular segments and together Aluwave and its customers form an optimized solution.
As a base for both modules and systems rests Aluwaves expertise in thermal management and electronic/system design that has been built up over the years when developing and designing on Alunat™.
The solutions provided by Aluwave are described below.
Aluwave Light Engines - Smart LED modules

Aluwave has developed a generic light engine, Aluwave Light Engine,
which is easily customized to meet your requirements in terms
functionality set and board geometry. It is normally built on Alunat™ for optimum
performance and is made out of one single unit with all the required functionality onboard.
Aluwave Light Engines are today used in several different segments of
lighting with strict requirements on high flux output, long service
life, high color rendering and color stability requirements. For small to medium sized luminaires in medium to high volumes the Aluwave Light Engine is a very cost efficient solution.

Aluwave Lighting Architecture - Corporate lighting platforms
The Aluwave Lighting Architecture provides a standardized way of
building lighting systems targeting medium to high volumes. The solution
is specially suited for companies wanting to develop a corporate
standard when off the shelf products are not efficient enough in terms
of price, performance or size and where it is important to optimize each part on price/performance.
